Florida Atlantic University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is offering up to 10 fellowships to support students interested in pursuing research-oriented master’s studies with a potential pathway to a Ph.D. This is an exciting opportunity for students who desire a career in research.

Selected fellows will receive

• A full tuition waiver for one year
• A stipend of USD 20,000 for one year
• Dedicated mentorship from a world-class research faculty while completing their master’s thesis

About the fellowship award

• This fellowship award is provided and distributed by Florida Atlantic University and the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
• Eligible students must be
  1. Admitted and confirmed to enroll in a research-oriented master’s degree programme within the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
  2. Plan to complete a master’s thesis during their program at Florida Atlantic
• Selected fellows are expected to engage in both teaching and research during the fellowship period.
• The full tuition waiver and USD 20,000 stipend are for one year.
• Fellows may be able to renew for a second year based on academic performance and available funding.

• The application deadline is Tuesday, 1 July 2025, at midnight (0:00) Eastern Daylight Time. 
• There is no application fee for the fellowship application.
• Admitted and confirmed master’s students must submit an application here.
• The complete application must include
  1. A resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  2. A research statement describing the applicant's prior research experience, future research interests, and 2-3 Florida Atlantic faculty members they would like to work with.
